GENCON 94 — agreed exceptions rest on the rider

An excepted period the parties agreed for the voyage and logged in the Statement of Facts is excluded from laytime on every days basis, SHINC included. The printed GENCON 94 has no general exceptions clause for laytime, so rule set 3 cites the exclusion to the parties' own terms as GENCON94-RIDER (rule sets 1 and 2 label it GENCON94-7(c)). Once the vessel is on demurrage, an agreed exception no longer stops the clock. A Sunday or holiday is not an agreed exception: the days basis and the port's calendar decide those.
