SHEX — Sundays and holidays excepted (GENCON 94 Clause 6)

On a SHEX basis, Sundays and holidays are excepted from laytime, counted in the port's local time; holidays come from the port's calendar where one is set. By default the whole day is excepted whether or not work is done. A claim on rule set 3 may instead record that time actually worked on such a day counts: LayGrounded offers that choice and decides neither reading. Rule sets 1 and 2 label this rule, and an exception the parties agreed, GENCON94-7(c), although Clause 7 of the printed form has no sub-clause (c); rule set 3 cites Clause 6, or the parties' rider for an agreed exception.
