AMWELSH 93 Clause 10 — Demurrage and despatch

Clause 10 sets demurrage at the agreed daily rate, prorated for part of a day. Once the vessel is on demurrage the time runs without a break, apart from the move into the berth under Clause 6(c). Despatch is half the demurrage rate on all laytime saved. Where the parties agreed their own despatch rate, LayGrounded uses it and records which rule produced the figure. The printed form sets no time bar for demurrage claims.
